I read quite a few bad revues about Stays Hotel, Manchester, but I can tell everybody including those who panned the hotel - that me and my husband found our stay there fully enjoyable, we had a lovely room with a spotless bathroom, the staff were most accommodating to us especially for my husband (providing cables for my husband's sleep machine)and courteous. We would not hesitate to use this hotel time and time again.

Paul on reception was very friendly and welcoming on our arrival, rooms were very clean and a good standard. Hotel is around a 10 min walk from city center or for those who prefer to get a taxi, around £4 in a private hire (front desk will phone a taxi for you) in a black cab - its about £5.

I have stayed here twice now, once last year on my own and once this year with my daughter. On both occasions my rooms were spacious and clean; breakfasts and evening meals were tasty and you were always offered plenty in the breakfasts. Staff were very friendly and always ready to help out. Hotel is so handy being close to the city centre. I will definitely be back!

We stayed here for one night while visiting Manchester for a concert at the MEN and a shopping trip. The hotel was ideally suited being around 10 minutes walking distance from either location. Booking our room online was really easy, we felt we got an excellent deal and the staff on arrival could not have been more friendly or helpful. The room was clean, tv, tea and coffee, a comfortable bed, adequate bathroom ensuite, free car parking on site. What more could you ask for? We will definitely use again.

I booked a triple room for myself and my two children, for attending a concert at the MEN Arena. It was a ten minute walk to the arena and about the same distance down to the Arndale Centre ( Great Location). The room was well set out and very very clean. The staff where very pleasant and helpful. Meals where made fresh when ordered and they didnt take long to come. Also it has free parking which was secure parking as the gates where locked on a nite ( Not many hotels had parking at all and it costed a fortune to park in NCP Car Parks). The price for a triple room was fantastic. Will defo use again !!

Stayed for one night as seeing a show at the MEN Arena. Possibly the best hotel we've stayed in (in this price range). Excellent location, a very short walk to the arena. One of the few hotels so close that has free parking which is a plus! Very, very clean hotel - in all areas, corridors, restaurant, rooms etc The only worry on arrival was the mattress seemed a bit lumpy but appearances can be deceptive - it was very comfy! Also, unlike a lot of hotels the room wasn't stuffy. Had breakfast - which was good value. And really refreshing to find somewhere that does a vegetarian cooked breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful too. I'd definitely stay at the Stay Inn again.
