Excellent location, clean and warm room and wonderfully cheerful, happy reception staff. Free parking is a real advantage and you are only a few minutes walk to the MEN Arena or the city centre. I didn't experience the restaurant but the menu looks inviting with good choices and very reasonably priced. I would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed for one night(22/10/2013)at the Stay Inn Hotel because we were going to the MEN arena for a gig.
We had a lovely time; the location is perfect for the arena and the bar being open until 1am was a bonus for after the show! The room was spacious, clean & comfortable, and our friends complimented the breakfast highly (we didn't wake up in time...oops!) Free parking, another massive plus. The staff are lovely and friendly plus when I discovered I'd left a piece of jewellery in our room, they went out of their way to find it and get it back to me. Thanks to Zara and all of her colleagues. We'll definitely be back!

A clean and tidy hotel both inside and out. Only stayed for one night with 2 more guests on 23rd - 24th May while visiting MEN arena, good location. Food was served hot, the only down side was that there wasn't a vast selection of meals. Would definitely use this hotel again when going to MEN arena. Staff were polite and helpful.

My partner and I stayed 9th December for one night. Ronda on front desk was an absolute star and so welcoming. Room was a decent size and car park was excellent. Will be seeing you all in June next year. Thankyou for a pleasant stay x

I stayed here end of September 2008 for the Labour conference and we are about to repeat the experience this year. I should have got round to doing a review then! I found my room was a good size, the food was good and good value, I don't think they could make it any cheaper for what you get - it is worth ordering an evening meal if you are in as well as just the breakfast as it is nicely cooked and prompt. The staff are very helpful, there is a twenty-four hour reception and location wise it's very good for the centre of town - it looks on the map as if you are slighty off-centre but in fact you could walk to the GMEX in 25 minutes (perhaps quicker if you have long legs!) and less than that to the rest of the town, and 10 mins to the MEN as others have said - it's not usually worth getting the tram as you are so near but you can part of the way if you have luggage or are tired!

We booked for a 3 day convention. Paul and staff were exceptional they could not do enough for us. We requested a room change from the front to the back, as we are not use to traffic noise and felt we would not be able to sleep. They did this with no hesitation. The food was good and freshly cooked, and you could sit and relax in the lounge afterwards. The secure car park was a real bonus, we were able to leave our car there for the 3 days of our stay without worrying about finding parking. We will definately be staying again next year for our 3 day convention. A big thank you to Paul and staff.
